Where the €8 million goes

Thirty months, one proof: a five-base, twenty-tower border system that works, built in Chișinău and engineered in Dublin. Each drawing below shows the same money from a different angle.

One square = €80,000

The flow

From one cheque to five places

Money enters on the left, splits into spending categories, then lands where the work happens. Most of it ends up in Chișinău and Dublin, with a buffer held back.

What gets built

The MVP: five bases, twenty towers

The first proof covers part of the southern border between Giurgiulești and Palanca. The faint dots are the rest of a full section, which comes later.

MVP hardware, including spares and installation

Each of the five clusters costs about the same, so the border is covered one repeatable block at a time.

The factory

A print farm in Chișinău

Every block is sized by what it costs. The metal laser printer is the single biggest purchase, so it is also the one worth negotiating, renting at first, or sourcing second-hand.

The people

Eighteen people in two cities

Rare skills sit in Dublin, production and engineering in Chișinău. Bars show what each role costs over the 30 months, so the hires that matter most to the budget are easy to see.

The clock

Month by month

Spending climbs as the factory fills with equipment, peaks as the fleet is built, then settles to the running cost of the team. Flags mark the deck milestones.

The big ones

Twelve lines carry 40% of the money

If you only have time to check a few numbers, check these.

How firm

What is solid and what is still an estimate

Only part of the budget comes from the deck's cost model. Most is a working estimate, and some lines need a supplier quote before they can be called firm.
